1. Who you are contracting with

Moodie ("the Service") is operated by Luka Kremnev ("we", "us") as an independent business operator based in Israel. Payments for Moodie Pro are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. By using Moodie you enter into an agreement with Luka Kremnev.

2. Acceptance

By accessing, browsing or continuing to use Moodie you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service. If you use Moodie on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm that you meet the age requirements set out in the Age Requirements section of these Terms.

3. What Moodie provides

Moodie generates movie recommendations with AI based on the mood, genre and other parameters you describe, and shows where those movies may be legally available to watch in your region. Availability data and recommendations are informational, generated automatically, and may be incomplete or inaccurate — always confirm with the streaming service before purchasing anything from them.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use Moodie for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
• commit fraud, send spam or impersonate others;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — no malware, probing, penetration attempts, automated scraping or circumvention of technical limits;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.

6. AI-generated content

Moodie uses generative AI models. Outputs may be inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, and are provided for general entertainment purposes only — not as professional, legal, financial or other regulated advice. You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for having the rights to any content you input, and for how you use the outputs. You must not use Moodie to generate illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes or malware, or to attempt to jailbreak the underlying models. We may filter, refuse, restrict or remove outputs and content, and may suspend accounts for abuse. Rights-holders who believe content infringes their rights can contact us at support@moodie.one for takedown; repeat infringers will lose access.

7. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service and all intellectual property in it, including its software, design, branding and documentation. Subject to these terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Moodie within the plan you have selected. Movie titles, posters and service marks belong to their respective owners. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the content you submit solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Memberships and payment

Moodie Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, renewing automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, billing, cancellation and refund enquiries relating to purchases. For help with Moodie itself — recommendations, account features, bugs or feedback — contact us directly.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.

9. Service level

We work to keep Moodie available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and maintenance or third-party outages may interrupt access.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using Moodie at any time. When access ends, your saved library may be deleted after a reasonable export window.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. The courts of Israel have jurisdiction, except where mandatory applicable consumer law provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Collections and public content

Moodie Pro members can create collections. A collection's title, description, movie list and your account name are published on a public page that anyone can view and search engines may index. You are responsible for what you publish; titles and descriptions must not be offensive, unlawful or infringing, and we may automatically reject, edit, hide or remove content that breaks these Terms. Collection titles must be unique. Collections marked Official are created by Moodie.

If your Pro membership ends, your collections are kept and may remain viewable through their link. You can still delete your own collections at any time; editing and creating collections require Pro.

16. Referral free month

Moodie does not offer a free trial. Signed-in members who have never had Moodie Pro can share a personal invite link. When one new account is created through it, the inviter receives one free first month of the monthly Moodie Pro plan as a referral reward. Only one reward is available per account, regardless of how many people use the link. The reward is tied to the inviter's account, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, does not apply to the yearly plan and applies only to a first Pro purchase; accounts that have or have had Pro through any provider are not eligible. Existing accounts and self-invites do not count. Payment details are required at checkout, and the subscription renews at the standard monthly price after the free month unless cancelled. On the website the reward is applied through Paddle checkout; in the apps it is available only where offered by Apple or Google. We may withhold or cancel rewards obtained through fake, duplicate or self-made accounts, and may change or end the programme for future invites.

17. Age requirements

Moodie is not intended for children under the age of 13. By creating an account or using Moodie, you confirm that you meet the minimum age required under the laws applicable to you. If you are under the age of legal majority in your country, you should use Moodie with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
